In this area children’s early numeracy and literacy skills, pre-reading, pre-writing, and hand eye co-ordination are developed. The development of reasoning and problem-solving is also developed as are the children’s fine motor skills. The children’s ability to concentrate for lengths of time and complete exercises is also nurtured through these types of activities.
